These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using Dinner Decoder. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Dinner Decoder does

Dinner Decoder helps you identify ingredients from photos and discover recipes that may be cookable from your kitchen. Ingredient recognition and recipe matching are suggestions, not guarantees that a recipe is complete, accurate, safe, or suitable for your circumstances.

Dinner Decoder is intended for people age 18 and older. The app is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone under 18.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in information confidential and for activity under your account.
• You must provide an email address you are allowed to use.
• Tell us promptly through Support if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Photos, food, and safety

Only upload photos you have the right to share. Do not upload sensitive documents, people, or anything else you do not want processed by the services described in our Privacy Policy.

Always check ingredients, allergens, storage condition, preparation steps, and cooking temperatures yourself. Do not rely on Dinner Decoder for medical, allergy, dietary, or food-safety decisions.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful content, or use automated requests to consume resources or bypass usage limits.

Subscriptions

Dinner Decoder Pro may offer annual and monthly subscription packages. The applicable price, renewal period, and billing terms will be shown before purchase. Purchases are processed by the app store where you made them. Store cancellation and refund rules apply; you can use the store account settings or contact Support for help.

Ownership and third-party services

Dinner Decoder and its original software, design, and text belong to its operator or licensors. The service relies on third-party providers, which may have their own terms and availability limits. The Privacy Policy explains the providers that process app data.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including free limits and paid features. We will update these terms when they materially change and will change the effective date above.

Disclaimer and limits

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Dinner Decoder is not responsible for decisions made solely from an AI-generated identification or recipe suggestion, or for interruptions caused by third-party services.
